One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer

این ترانه در سبک بلوز راک اولین بار توسط رودی تومبز نوشته شد و درسال 1953 منتشر شد و بعد از اون بارها توسط هنرمندان مختلف با متنهای مختلف اجرا شد ولی نکته اصلی همه این ترانه ها مشکل نوشیدن الکل بود . نسخه جرج تروگود در سال 1977 شاید یکی از جذابترین نسخه های این ترانه قدیمی باشه . ( البته تروگود رو همه با ترانه معروف  bad to the bone میشناسند ) در این نسخه جرج تروگود از ترانه House Rent Boogie به عنوان داستان بک گراند ترانه استفاده میکنه تا موقعیت خواننده رو شرح داده باشه . داستان از این قراره که طرف کارش رو از دست میده و به زن مهمانخانه دار میگه هفته دیگه کرایه رو میده و ....  بعد نمیتونه پول دربیاره خونه دوستش میره اونجا هم نمیتونه بمونه و میاد به دروغ میگه کار پیدا کرده میره تو اتاقش وسایلش رو برمیداره و درمیره و بعد میره توی یه بار و تا 3 صبح سفارش سه گانه بوربون و اسکاچ و آبجو میده  تا مشکلاتش رو فراموش کنه . البته این وسط دیالوگهای رد و بدل شده بین اون با زن مهمانخانه دار و دوستش و بار من جالبه .

Hawkwind - The Psychedelic Warlords

King Crimson - Lady of the Dancing Water

شکل‌گیری راکِ پیش‌رونده، به خسته‌شدن گوش‌های دهه‌ی هفتاد میلادی از تکرار ریتم‌های راک، پایان داد. آهنگ‌سازی قطعه‌های Progressive Rock، تکنیکی و نوآورانه شدند و حجم‌گراییِ هنرهای تجسمی به موسیقیِ انتزاعی یا آلبوم‌های مفهومیِ این سبک راه یافت. King Crimson ِ بریتانیایی از نخستین گروه‌هایی بود که این جنبش را ادامه داد و علی‌رغم ناهم‌آهنگی‌های درونیِ اعضای گروه، آثار پیش‌رونده‌ی جاودانه‌ای را به گوش‌های سخت‌پسند آن دوره رسانید. ترانه‌ی "Lady of the Dancing Water" از سومین آلبوم گروه (با نام Lizard) نمونه‌ای از سلیقه‌ی اعضای King Crimson در آهنگ‌سازی و تنظیم قطعه‌هاست. از ویژگی‌های ترانه‌ی «بانوی آبِ رقصان» می‌توان به خارج‌شدن ملودی کلام از روندِ خطی ملودی‌های راک، تشبیه‌های فراواقع‌گرایانه‌ی متن ترانه، حرکت آزادانه‌ی نواختِ نوت‌های فلوت که به ریتم قطعه وابسته نیستند و فورته‌شدن گیتار ریتم - که حضور گیتاریست را به عنوان عنصری تأثیرگذار در درک حسی به شنونده یادآوری می‌کند - اشاره کرد. بشنوید و بخوانید:

Simon & Garfunkel - The Dangling Conversation

The Moody Blues - Legend of a Mind

تفاوت عقیده یا سلیقه‌ی فردی در بسیاری از گروه‌های موسیقی - به خصوص راک - وجود داشته و دارد. خیلی از گروه‌ها به سبب همین تفاوت سلیقه از هم پاشیده‌اند یا از دوره‌ی موفقیت‌های خود فاصله گرفته‌اند. این تفاوت اجتناب‌ناپذیر است و نمی‌شود از آن چشم پوشید. Joe Perry - نوازنده‌ی مشهور گیتار - زمانی که در Aerosmith به نواختن Lead مشغول بود، دچار همین اختلاف نظر با سایر اعضای گروه شد. او با ترکِ کوتاه‌مدت گروه، پروژه‌ی موسیقی خودش را به راه انداخت که با عقیده و سلیقه‌ی شخصی پیش می‌رفت. The Joe Perry Project از سال 1979 شروع به فعالیت کرد و با انتشار آلبوم Let the Music Do the Talking به موفقیت جهانی رسید. آلبوم با ترانه‌ای به همین نام شروع می‌شود و می‌شود گفت همین ترانه، موفق‌ترین کار انفرادی Joe Perry به شمار می‌آید. بعدها در سال 1985 با بازگشت Perry به Aerosmith، این ترانه‌ی هاردراک مجدداً با شعری از Steven Tyler اجرا شد و نسخه‌ی ویدئویی آن هم منتشر شد. از این‌جا می‌توانید اجرای زنده‌ی نسخه‌ی Joe Perry را ببینید. متن نسخه‌ی Aerosmith هم در ادامه خواهید خواند:

Aerosmith - Seasons of Wither

دهه‌ی ۷۰، سرآغاز موفقیت‌های Aerosmith - گروه موسیقی هاردراک آمریکایی - بود. در ۱۹۷۴، دومین آلبوم استودیویی این گروه با نام Get Your Wings روانه‌ی بازار موسیقی آمریکا و جهان شد و از آن، به عنوان یکی از موفق‌ترین آلبوم‌های هاردراک یاد می‌شود. ترانه‌ی هفتم این آلبوم با نام Seasons of Wither، به خاطر اصالت هنری، کلام ملودیک، قافیه‌های غیرقابل پیش بینی، اجرای ایستای گیتار* و مدت زمان ِ متناسب با موضوع شعر، یکی از زیبا‌ترین ترک‌های آلبوم به شمار می‌رود. ترانه را از اینجا بشنوید.

این آهنگ توسط رندی بکمن نوشته و توسط گروه کانادائی بکمن- ترنر اوردرایو در سال 1973 برای آلبوم بکمن - ترنر اوردرایو 2 اجرا شد. آهنگ الهام گرفته از زندگی تکنسینی بود که برای گروه گس هو کار می کرد(در حقیقت رندی آهنگ رو زمانی نوشت که هنوز عضو گروه گس هو بود). این تکنسین هر روز ترن ساعت 8:15 رو سوار میشد تا سر کار بیاد ( که در آهنگ به این موضوع اشاره شده). اینجا میتونید آهنگ رو در 4شیرد گوش بدین و این هم لینک یوتیوب و درنهایت متن آهنگ:

چارلی دنیلز متولد 1936 موزیسین سبک کانتری و راک با همین ترانه که در سال 1979 به بازار ارائه شد شهرت زیادی پیدا کرد.
من این ترانه رو مدتها قبل روی کاست داشتم ولی اسم اون رو نمیدونستم و همین امروز اونو با اسم و مشخصات کامل پیدا کردم و تونستم لینکهای فورشیرد + و یو تیوب + اونو به همراه متنش + پیدا کنم .

Surfin' - The Beach Boys

گروه پاپ آمریکایی The Beach Boys در سال 1961 ترانه‌ای با عنوان «Surfin'» منتشر کرد که به سبب هارمونی‌های نوآورانه و اجرای ملودی بسیار پیچیده، به شهرت رسید. این ترانه که به‌دست برایان ویلسون و مایک لاو نوشته‌شد، بسیار کوتاه (حدود دو دقیقه) بود اما همین ترانه‌ی دو دقیقه‌ای، این گروه را در ژانر Surf Rock قرار داد! از معروف‌ترین گروه‌هایی که در همین سبک فعالیت می‌کردند می‌توان به The Astronauts اشاره کرد که معاصر The Beach Boys بود و این تقارن زمانی، تاثیر موسیقایی متقابلی روی هر دو گروه به جا گذاشت و ترانه‌ی Surfin' شروع قدرت‌مند این تقارن بود. از این‌جا بشنوید.

Bonnie Raitt - Runaway

سال 1977 ترانه‌ای به نام Runaway از آلبوم Sweet Forgiveness منتشر شد که شهرت Bonnie Raitt را افزون‌تر از پیش کرد. این ترانه‌ی پر فروش که توسط Max Crook و Del Shannon نوشته شده، در جدول موسیقی آمریکا (Billboard Hot 100) رتبه‌ی 57 را از آن خود کرد و به سرعت به گوش بسیاری از طرف‌داران موسیقی تلفیقی راک و بلوز رسید. Bonnie Lynn Raitt از ترانه‌نویسان و خوانندگان مشهور دهه‌ی 70 موسیقی راک است که در کالیفرنیا به دنیا آمده و تا کنون که 61 سال دارد، به فعالیت موسیقی خود ادامه داده‌است.
