آهنگ زيباي "ويش يو وِر هيير" از آلبومي با همين نام است كه شامل دوآهنگ ديگر با نام هاي "هو اِ سيگار" و "شاين آن يو كريزي دياموند" مي باشد. همانطور كه چند روز پيش دراين باره صحبت شد آلبوم "ويش يو وِر هيير" درسال 1975 ضبط و روانه بازار شد. اشعار اين آهنگ بيان كننده حس رنجش "راجر واترز" ازسايرمردم است، شايدهم اين آهنگ اشاره به عضوسابق گروه پينك فلويد يعني "سيد بَرِت" و جداي وي از اين گروه داشته باشد!

ريتم و موسيقي اين اثر ابتدا زماني كه "ديويد گيلمور" در منزلش مشغول نواختن گيتار بود به ذهنش رسيد و سپس به همراه "راجر واترز" در استوديو روُد اَبيي آن را تكميل نمودند. "ديويد گيلمور" خواننده اين اثراست و مدت زمان آن درحدود"5:40 مي باشد.

"راجر واترز" درباره ي اين اثردرسال 1975 اين گونه بيان مي نمايد: "يا موسيقي ابتدا ساخته مي شود و سپس اشعار به آن اضافه مي گردد، و يا موسيقي و شعر هردو باهم درست مي شوند. فقط يك بار شعر ابتدا گفته شد و سپس موسيقي و آن هم درآهنگ "ويش يو وِر هيير" بود، اما اين يك كار غير معمول بود كه قبل ازآن اتفاق نيوفتاده بوده است."

"ويش يو وِر هيير" نهمين استوديوآلبوم گروه راك پينك فلويد بود، كه در سپتامبر سال 1975 دراختيار علاقه مندان به اين گروه معروف انگليسي قرارگرفت. در اجراي اين آلبوم به غيراز "ديويد گيلمور" (خواننده، گيتاريست)، "راجرواترز" (خواننده و گيتارباس)، "ريچارد رايت" (كي بورد) و "نيك ماسؤن" (درام و پركاشن) كه اعضاي ثابت گروه پينك فلويد بودند، نفراتي ديگري هم به عنوان مهمان مانند "ديك پَري" (ساكسيفون) و "روي هارپر" (خواننده در آهنگ "هَو اِ سيگار") حضورداشتند. "ديويد گيلمور" و "ريچارد رايت" اين آلبوم رو آلبوم مورد علاقه شان مي دانند. درزمان ضبط يكي از آهنگ هاي اين آلبوم با نام "شاين آن يو كريزي دياموند" اتفاق جالبي افتاد؛ "سيد بَرِت" كه جز 4نفر اصلي بنيان گذار گروه پينك فلويد بود و بين سال هاي 1964 تا 1968 با اين گروه همكاري مي كرد، با ظاهري متفاوت از قبل (با سر و ابروي تراشيده) بعد از گذشته سال ها جداي وارد استوديوضبط شد. شناسايي "سيد بَرِت" بااين ظاهر براي اعضاي اين گروه دشوار بود. هيچ يك از اعضاي اين گروه ديگر"سيد بَرِت" را ازآن روز به بعد نديدن تا زمان مرگ وي در سال 2006، گفته مي شود كه اين آهنگ به خاطر حضور "سيد بَرِت" به وي تقديم شده است. در زير لينك دانلود قسمت هاي 1تا 7 اين اثر و ويدئوي آن به همراه متن اين آهنگ آمده است.

گروه راك بيتلز درسال 1960 فعاليتش رو در شهر ليورپول انگليس آغاز نمود، يكي از آهنگ هاي به ياد ماندني اين گروه از آلبوم "هِلپ" به نام "يِستردي" است كه در سپتامبرسال 1965 روانه بازار شد، موضوع اين آهنگ درباره ي جدايي دريك رابطه عاشقانه است. اين اثراولين كاررسمي اين گروه بود كه متكي براجراي تك نفره ي يكي ازاعضاي گروه به نام "پل مك كارتني" بود، وازاين لحاظ متفاوت با سايركارهاي اين گروه به حساب مي آمد! مدت اين آهنگ حدود "2:03 مي باشد
